MATH TEACHER - Long Term Substitute

Freeport High School is seeking a long-term substitute to teach a variety of high school math course including Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry.  Candidate should have understanding of standards and proficiency-based practices as well as repertoire of skills to address the varying abilities of the students in those classes.

Position will begin on March 21 - end date is projected to be the end of the school year. Individual must possess (or obtain) a Criminal History Background Certificate (CHRC) from the Maine Department of Education and previous math teaching experience is preferred.

Educational Technician III (Morse Street School) - 30 hours per week

Individual will provide instructional and emotional/behavioral support to students in resource and self-contained settings, as well as provide support to those transitioning to less restrictive programming.

Experience working with students with emotional/behavioral challenges and students with autism/developmental disabilities is essential.  Background in data collection and development of positive support plans is desired.  Candidate must possess a valid 023 - Educational Technician III Authorization from the Maine Department of Education.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS

Requirements: Clean driving record, ability to pass a road test, CDL license with P & S endorsements; one year driving experience preferred.  Individuals must obtain a Criminal History Background Certificate (CHRC) from the Maine Department of Education. 

Sub bus drivers will drive for sports and/or field trips and cover regular bus runs as needed, on an on call basis; hours vary; pay is $17.58 per hour.
