Use of Time Advisory Committee
Charge of the Committee: Whereas the RSU No. 5 Board of Directors recognizes that the use of student and professional time has a significant impact on student achievement; we hereby charge the Use of Time Advisory Committee to consider the optimal use of time to benefit students and staff while balancing the needs of families and the community. The Committee will present recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the 2010-2011 RSU No. 5 School Calendar. The Committee will give consideration to current district initiatives such as the Strategic Plan, NEASC Report, Response to Intervention, and Professional Learning Communities. The role of this committee is advisory only with the final decision-making authority resting with the RSU No. 5 Board of Directors.
